Prediction of Bond-Slip Behavior of Circular/Squared Concrete-Filled Steel Tubes

Numerous existing formulas predicted the ultimate interfacial bond strength in concrete-filled steel tubes (CFST) between and concrete core without investigating whole response under push-out load. In this research, four models are proposed to predict behavior CFST including post-peak branch loading test based on 157 circular specimens 105 squared from literature. Two (one for one CFST) developed calibrated using artificial neural network (ANN) two multivariable regression analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA). The shape specimen (circular or squared), diameter tube, thickness compressive strength, age at time testing, length main factors considered. These then compared other verify their capability better strength. It is found that ANN model gives results most considered data. also can overall bond-slip dataset. order simulate any column finite element (FE) method, it vital have sufficient input data interior face tube exterior surface branch. Accordingly, suggested used generate required related cohesive damage along interface ABAQUS columns concentric good agreement with experimental outcomes. criterion FE be adopted columns.
